BOARD MEMBERS


GREG ROBERTSON (CHAIR) has been a high-school educator for 14 years. Greg’s commitment to the arts started when he co-founded Vague Theatre Company in 2006; touring contemporary theatre to rural communities in the United Kingdom. Having established Vague Theatre Company, Greg became a board member of Lancaster Footlights Society, custodians of the third oldest theatre in the U.K. – Lancaster Grand Theatre. During his time as a member, Greg spearheaded a “Studio” theatre wing, opening the inaugural season with Martin McDonagh’s, The Pillowman. In Dallas, Greg has worked in House Management at WaterTower Theatre and The Eisemann Center for the Performing Arts. He also worked as General Administrator for Uptown Players. In 2017, Greg joined AT&T Performing Arts Center as its Capital Campaign Coordinator before moving into the role of Sponsorship Manager. He is currently the Center's Group Sales Manager. Greg holds a BSC. (Hons.) in Biology from the University of Stirling, a Graduate Degree in Education from, Lancaster University, and a MA in Arts Administration from the University of Kentucky. He lives in Addison with his husband.  

DR. ALEX BURMEISTER (VICE-CHAIR) has been counseling Dallas-area families since 1985. She currently is in private practice treating couples and adults, working with diverse clients including artists, entrepreneurs, health and legal professionals, and family businesses. Dr. Burmeister’s counseling practice began with an emphasis on working with at-risk youth and their families while also providing clinical training for professionals in the support, treatment and intervention of at-risk young people.  She has also served as adjunct faculty at Southern Methodist University in the psychology department. Dr. Burmeister lives with her husband, Greg Beasley and their daughter Andie in Dallas.

LAURA STEEN-PATTERSON (TREASURER) has a MA in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from Southern Methodist University and a BA in Accounting from Texas Tech University.  Laura spent time working in public and private accounting firms in Dallas and southern California before pursuing her masters.  She then spent over 8 years working as a Crisis Counselor at the Parkland Rape Crisis and Child Sexual Abuse Center.  After quitting work to stay home with her children, Laura volunteered her time with the PTAs at her neighborhood schools, seeing clients at the Wilkinson Center, Girls on the Run and Running group at Wesley-Rankin.  Laura currently serves on the board of the Cry Havoc Theater Group and the Wesley-Rankin Community Center.  Laura is a longtime resident of East Dallas where she raised her two children and currently lives there with her husband, Tom. 

HARI BHUSHAN (SECRETARY) has lived in the Dallas area for over thirty years and currently resides in East Dallas with his wife and two dogs. An avid cyclist, he can often be found riding around White Rock Lake and on local off-road trails.  Along with being a Cry Havoc Theater board member, Hari is also an active volunteer for Children’s Hospital - Camp Feliz program. A marketing professional for 15+ years, he has worked client and agency side for some of the biggest brands including: 7-Eleven, GameStop, Topgolf, Walmart, among others.  Hari received a B.S. in Advertising from UT-Austin and an M.B.A. in Marketing from Southern Methodist University. MARA RICHARDS BIM is the founder of Cry Havoc Theater Company, an adjunct faculty member at Eastfield College, and a frequent consultant for Dallas ISD’s Department of Theatre and Dance. Her Dallas directing/devising credits include Cry Havoc’s BabelSex Ed (2018), A History of EverythingThe Great American SideshowShots Fired (co-director), Shut Up and Listen! and The (out)Siders Project. She has been commissioned by the University of North Texas to create a new documentary/verbatim theatre piece which will premiere in February 2019. The Memory Project will weave together first-person narratives collected from senior citizens in assisted living facilities. Mara is also the recipient of a 2018 Special Projects Grant from the City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs for the public art installation, "The Cenotaph". In September 2018, the DFW Theatre Critics awarded a Forum Award for Best New Play to Babel as well as a special citation for “conducting thorough research and creating compelling verbatim drama.”

DUSTIN DEVILLE is an 11-year veteran of both the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) and advertising industries. His diverse experience has helped companies like Bottle Rocket, The Beck Group, Fort Worth Opera, The Real Estate Council (TREC), Crow Holdings, The Dallas Cowboys, The Toyota Music Factory, Chase Tower and Trinity Park Conservancy maximize their marketing dollars. He takes a strategic approach to solving complex problems for businesses large and small, far and wide.Communication is important to Dustin. He studied public relations and marketing at Oklahoma State University. In other words, he likes to talk. A lot. Music, movies and motorcycles are how Dustin spends his spare time, and, having been born in Ohio and lived in five states, travel is in his blood. Especially on two wheels.

TONYA RAMSEY is the Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer of DentalOne Partners.  Prior to joining DPI in 2015, Tonya was Assistant General Counsel of United Surgical Partners International, Inc., the largest owner and operator of ambulatory surgery centers in the United States, and before that was a Partner at Vinson & Elkins, LLP in Dallas, Texas.  Tonya received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Texas Christian University and her Juris Doctor from the Baylor University School of Law.  She has been married to her husband, Todd, for over 20 years and they have 3 daughters, Truett (15), Margaret (13) and Berkeley (8).  Tonya and Todd love to travel and participate in just about any activity outside. 

ANVESHICA SAUMYA TAYI is a Vice President in the Financial Advisory Services practice at AlixPartners LLP where she provides clients with forensic accounting and expert witness services. She is also a company dancer and choreographer for Indique Dance Company, a Dallas-based Bharatanatyam dance company. Mrs. Tayi earned her B.B.A in Accounting, her B.A. in Plan II Honors, and her Masters in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and its McCombs School of Business.
